Cash Register Computer - Printer and Drawer Problem
Issue 1:
The cash drawer opens for all transactions, not just cash transactions and the windows print dialog opens instead of just printing directly.
Solution 1:
After troubleshooting, contacted Locis support. Tech modified the .ini file and rebuilt config file. Issue was related to change in the name of the receipt printer upon reinstall. Tested with dummy transactions and all is working correctly now.
Issue 2:
Cash Register PC does not print receipts or open cash drawer.
Solution 2:
USB cable reseated and printer and cash drawer are working again. I will put a new end on the cash drawer cable, as it is missing the prong that holds in place and replace the USB cable for the printer if we have this issue happen again.
